Car Insurance For Your Business

  • Posted on October 27, 2009 at 8:00 am

It takes a lot of work to get a business running smoothly every month, keeping costs as low as possible. This includes the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s vehicles, be it for delivery trucks or company cars for employees, these vehicles will need to be looked after. The most important thing to protect your investment is to insure the vehicles. It is imperative that the company’s vehicles are protected by a valid insurance policy, to ensure that money is saved should something happen, such as theft or a collision.

There are many motor insurance companies that specialize specifically in car insurance for businesses. The majority of insurance companies will have a business insurance division. You could be discounted for insuring more than one vehicle under the same insurance company. Another easy way to lower your premium is to house all your company’s insurance needs with one insurance place. When you are looking for insurance for your company’s fleet, the best thing you can do is to shop around and obtain as many quotes as possible.

You need to carefully consider who will be the designated drivers on your policies. If some of the vehicles are being assigned to certain employees, you can put them as designated drivers on the policy for the vehicle. It is important that you clarify details with your car insurance company about business car insurance, as sometimes there are certain regulations and clauses that will allow you to insure just the vehicle itself, with anyone driving it.

The most important thing for the business is to keep costs as low as possible. You may find that you can get a lower premium for insuring a few vehicles with the same company. Installing alarm systems and trackers on your fleet will also lower the theft risk and therefore the price of the premium.

Dont be Afraid of Skinny Jeans

  • Posted on October 27, 2009 at 6:56 am

When I found out a few years ago there was something called “skinny jeans” and that with girls clothing they were coming into style, I must admit, I didn’t like the idea. I’m a curvy girl and only 5 feet, 2 inches tall, unlike Katelyn Rose who is tall. So, imagining a pair of tight jeans that showed every curve on my legs seemed like a bad idea.  Maybe even a nightmare! But if you’re like me, and have the same reservations about skinny jeans, I’m here to bring you hope.

Most girls don’t realize that you can wear skinny jeans in so many ways. If you are tall and slender, you may have more options than the rest of us, but girls of all shapes and sizes can pull off the skinny jean look. The thing to do is try out different combinations. You don’t know if you look good in a certain style until you try it, right? The key is finding a pair you feel comfortable and confident in. Try one of the following ideas.

1. Wear a long shirt that comes to about mid-thigh with your skinny jeans. This will help cover the hip area if that is a place you’re concerned about showing. This way, the most slender part of your leg will be showing only.

2. Put on a vest or cardigan that is longer than the shirt or tank you are wearing, to go with your skinny jeans. This will have the same effect as a long shirt, but gives you the ability to layer.

3. If you are shorter, make sure your skinny jeans don’t bunch at your ankle too much, as this will make you appear even shorter.

Those are just a few tips you can try out, but they might not work for everyone. The most important thing is that you feel good about how you look.

So now that I’ve overcome my fear of skinnies, I’ve fallen in love with them! Most recently I bought a pair of black skinny corduroys from Urban Outfitters for under $40. I love them in black because they flatter my figure and if I want, I can easily make them look dressy for a nice event, with the right top of course. And don’t forget how awesome these wonderful pants look with boots! The perfect look for a chilly fall day!

How do chiropractors get new patients?

Being a chiropractor can’t be easy when you think about it. How are they supposed to get new patients? I know for a lot of medical doctors, they just need to show up to the hospital and they’ll have more people waiting there they can handle. Who does chiropractic marketing?

Marketing doesn’t have to be about billboards or signs on buses. If I was wondering who is the best houston chiropractor, it’s as simple as plugging it into the search engine and seeing who pops up. Still, are you just going to take the searche engine’s word for it? Finding an opportunity to meet a healthcare provider face to face can be very helpful.

Some companies are now providing “lunch and learn workshops” where you bring your lunch and spend the hour hearing about some health topic. If you can get a Houston Chiropractor to attend the function, you should be able to pick up tips on how to improve ergonomics, improve your posture, and best of all, you’ll have a chance to meet an actual doctor in your area.

Get your questions answered, and hear their response. Do they make sense? Do they seem like someone you’d like to visit for your own neck and back issue? Then a chance meeting a the event can be just what you’re looking for.

Some companies and groups are willing to put on health fairs. Most of the better doctors and providers out there dedicate at least some of their day to public relations. Spending time on a regular basis educating the public about chiropractic is a key ingredient for chiropractors looking to grow their practice.

There are no “chiropractic hospitals” so the best they can do is educate, educate, and educate some more.
